The Living Landscapes committee of the West Chester Green Team has a volunteer opportunity to share with you! Join us on Saturday, May 11 as we plant another pollinator garden in West Chester. We plan to extend the pollinator garden located in the green space between the curb and sidewalk, also called the “hellstrip”, on East Chestnut Street between the Chester County History Center and the Oscar Lasko YMCA. Please bring your own tools, including shovels and spades. Bring your own garden gloves but we will have some extra if needed. With your help, we can continue to beautify our community and provide important pollinator habitat in our public spaces! Join us, and RSVP at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050B45ADAD2CA20-49083484-native or here!

Pesticides & Herbicides
Reducing toxic chemicals in our daily lives, including in public programs, agriculture, and the home… and what drifts to our property across the fence.
Air & Water
We are compiling information on air and water, critical to life on earth. To learn more, or if you can contribute info or volunteer to help, read on!
Reduce use of Plastics
Reducing single-use plastics especially plastic bags and straws, which pose a worldwide problem of pollution, litter, overuse of fossil fuels, and harm to people and other species,n including from ingesting microplastics.
